Very well put! The degree of ignorance on this issue is astonishing to me. The degree to which the general population has been manipulated to support what I truly consider is a rape of our resources is even more astonishing. ANWR Bottom Line: Two Cents A Gallon very succinctly introduces the benefit the general public would receive from opening drilling in the Arctic Refuge and it isn't much. The response to my comment by an Alaskan is alarmingly mind blowing. Wilderness being equated with a wasteland. It is this manipulation of perception about the last areas of natural beauty that blows my mind. I can only hope that the perception to our wilderness areas are righted. Long gone are the days of someone principled enough to take a stand as bold as President Roosevelt. I can only hope that someone steps up to the plate soon.

I like the passion you have been writing with lately Jerry. This is as good as it gets when it comes to using nature photography in meaningful ways.

The focus should be on reducing oil demand, not increasing the supply.

Thanks Guy! That means a lot coming from you. I just wished that someone could get this message out to the masses. I'm just one tiny blip on the internet but I'm certain that I'm not the only one that has a brain!
