The degree of ignorance on this issue is astonishing to me. The response to my comment by an Alaskan is alarmingly mind blowing. Wilderness being equated with a wasteland. It is this manipulation of perception about the last areas of natural beauty that blows my mind. I can only hope that the perception to our wilderness areas are righted. Long gone are the days of someone principled enough to take a stand as bold as President Roosevelt. I can only hope that someone steps up to the plate soon. Very well put!
